Wanted to post the link to the ceremony pictures taken by Cashman Professional Photographers. The pictures can be viewed at https://shop.cashmanpro.com. The user ID and password are both mpica. Pictures can be viewed and anyone can purchase prints directly from the site if wanted.

We want to thank everyone again for sharing our wedding day with us; both in person and those of you watching at home. It was a perfect day and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Registry stuff

So a friend of ours said he was having trouble finding us on Target.com; here is a direct link to the registry in case anyone else was having the same issue. We ended up not registering at Home Depot after all, read a lot about the registry there being more complicated that it was worth.

The invitations are out and I am starting to hear most people have gotten them. I love getting the response cards in the mail, it’s like a little present in the mailbox every day. We are both really looking forward to October and seeing everyone who can make it. We know not everyone who wants to is going to be able to come, but it means a lot that you are thinking of us.

A side note for our loved ones who cannot make the trip, MGM does have webcasting in the chapel. It may sound silly, but it is a way for you to join in our special day and be able to see the wedding ceremony. To view via the web cam just go to the MGM Grand Webcasting site and enter the wedding date.

Since people have started to ask where we are registered we decided to go out and actually register today!

We are registered at Target now and will be setting up registries at both Macy’s and Home Depot. Hopefully that gives people plenty of choices.

I have a photograph project I am working on for the wedding reception and I need help! I want to collect as many pictures as possible from all the couples that will be coming to the wedding. If you can please send me copies of your wedding or engagement photos I would appreciate it so very much! Even if you have pictures of other guests as well, send them along. The more people can find the better!

Flight Information

Both JetBlue and Southwest have opened flights through October and the prices are quite reasonable. As of right now they are only booking for the flight out, they have yet to open booking for the flights back, but anyone wanting to jump on a deal might want to check it out. The non stop flight is even the cheaper as of last night when we booked out tickets.

I should have the information on booking rooms at the MGM with the discounted rate up soon. Also anyone who is interested in a group flight rate though either Southwest from Manchester or JetBlue out of Boston let me know. I am going to get group rate quotes from both airlines for flights out on Thursday the 29th of October, that is when Mike and I plan on heading out to get settled in before Saturday.

So I have to share this funny little anecdote that Kate Mara passed shared with me. If you do not know the Maras; I have worked for Kevin for a few years now, Kate is his lovely wife. Kevin and Kate’s younger daughter Fiona has told me how excited she is to travel and come to our wedding.

The other day Kate came home to share with me a story she was told by one of her coworkers/Fiona’s teacher. Fiona apparently was telling her teacher how excited she was to travel for a wedding. The teacher asked where the wedding would be and Fiona say it started with the letter L. Her teacher guessed London, to which Fiona replyed

“No! Better, Las Vegas!!” That was my best laugh for the week! That and I love that Mike and I rank higher to her than the possibility of visitng another country.
